Delicious Falooda

Falooda is almost a desert in itself, very much like a western contemporary milkshake with an Indian twist.

Ingredients:
• 2 teaspoons of Basil seeds
• 1.5 cup of Milk
• 2 tablespoons of Sugar (to taste)
• 200g of Falooda Sev (Vermicelli)
• 2 tablespoons of Rose Syrup
• 2 scoops of Ice cream
• 20g Pistachios

Steps:
• Soak basil seeds in the water for 30 minutes for them to soften. once soft remove them from the water
• Place the Milk and sugar together in a pan and bring to boil on medium heat. Then lower the heat and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before placing in the fridge
• Cook the falooda sev by placing in boiling water and heating for approximately 5 minutes. They will be cooked when they are soft to squeeze between your fingers. Remove from heat, drain and allow to cool before cutting them into smaller pieces
• Put the cooked basil seeds into the two large glasses (4 small glasses)
• Add the falooda to the glasses before adding the rose syrup and then the milk
• Finally add the Ice cream
• Serve & Enjoy!

Note. Falooda is usually garnished with Pistachios and rose petals (as desired)
